Solution Architect

ketteQ is a supply chain planning and automation platform provided as a Software as a Service solution. As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a highly organized and detailed oriented Solution Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in solution design, software configuration and testing during the implementation of supply chain planning solutions. Primary Responsibilities 

• Consult on all the activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation to meet client’s needs

• Provide supervision, technical leadership, and mentorship to implementation teams

• Assess current system architecture and business process working with client business and IT staff to recommend solutions to improve leveraging ketteQ capabilities

• Support preparation of use cases, business requirements, business processes and functional requirements for implementation projects

• Design system integration and data requirements; assist in system architecture decision

• Create detailed solution design documents, including system architecture, integration patterns, and data flows

• Design customizations that extend the core functionality of the ketteQ platform, addressing unique client requirements

• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of proposed solutions

• Define and document the system testing approach

• Lead the technical deployment process, ensuring smooth transition from development to production environments  

• Support creation of functional training

• Resolve technical problems during implementation

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance product offerings

• Contribute to the development of reusable components and accelerators to improve implementation efficiency

• Develop compelling software demos, showcasing key features and benefits of the ketteQ solution to potential clients

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience deploying Supply Chain Management software with focus on Supply Chain Planning including Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Supply, Distribution Planning, and Production Planning

• Understand statistical forecasting for Supply Chain

• Demonstrated ability to transform business needs into technical solution requirements

• Understanding of machine learning and AI applications in supply chain

• Ability to design and conduct data validation programs

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Knowledge of SQL, JSON, XML

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Proficiency in Python a plus

• Knowledge of data integration patterns and ETL processes (Talend or Pentaho a plus)

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines

• Understanding of cloud architectures, preferably with AWS certification

• Experience in creating and delivering software demos

• Exceptional analytical and data analysis skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with international clients  

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Must possess maturity and customer facing skills required to manage complex projects

• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated individual who is looking to make a career in supply chain management

• Quick thinker with proven decision-making and organizational skills

• Must be flexible to work non-standard hours to accommodate globally dispersed teams and clients  

• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, preferred

• Relevant certifications, preferred:

• SQL and Data Platforms: PostgreSQL Professional Certification or Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Professional  

• Cloud Architecture: AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft  

• Salesforce: Salesforce Certified System Architect or Salesforce Certified Application Architect

• Project Management: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) or PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner
