Business Architect

Primary Responsibilities 

• Consult and prescribe on all the activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation to meet client’s needs
• Provide supervision and mentorship to implementation teams
• Assess current business process working with client, support design of future Supply Chain Planning processes  
• Prepare use cases, business requirements, business processes and functional requirements for implementation projects
• Provide input on the customer system architecture currently in place and working with client business and IT staff to recommend solutions to improve
• Assist in creation of detailed solution design documents, including system architecture, integration patterns, and data flows
• Assess the business impact of implementing software systems
• Support tracking of program deliverables, risks, assumptions, issues, dependences
• Create of functional user training materials
• Support resolution of technical problems during implementation
• Stay current with emerging industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance product offerings
• Contribute to the development of reusable documentation to improve implementation efficiency

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies

• Minimum eight (8) years of experience deploying Supply Chain Management software with focus on Supply Chain Planning including Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Supply, Distribution Planning, and Production Planning
• Demonstrated ability to transform business needs into technical solution requirements
• Understanding of machine learning and AI applications in supply chain
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL), JSON, XML is a plus
• Knowledge of Python a plus
• Knowledge of basic IT architecture including cloud architectures
• Experience in creating and delivering software demos
• Excellent analytical and data analysis skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with international customers  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Must possess maturity and customer facing skills required to manage complex projects
• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated individual who is looking to make a career in supply chain management
• Quick thinker with proven decision-making and organizational skills
• Must be flexible to work non-standard hours to accommodate globally dispersed teams and clients  
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science/Applications preferred
• Relevant certifications, preferred:
• Project Management (PMI-ACP, PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, CSM)
• SQL and Data Platforms
• Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt)
