Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities ‍

  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
  • Write well-designed, scalable, and testable code with unit tests and integration tests
  • Maintain and develop back-end frameworks to build server-side software
  • Database creation, integration, and management
  • Collaborate with the development of new features, enhancements and fix existing system bugs
  • Analyze existing code to understand performance impact and propose solutions
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
  • Keep on top of new technologies
  • Interact with BA's, QA's and other peer to clarify business requirements
  • Engage and learn about complex business rules related to supply chain planning
  • Support demo development activities

Requirements

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies‍

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science
  • Java (3+ years of professional experience)
  • Spring Web MVC
  • SQL(preferably PostgreSQL)
  • Public cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)

‍Nice to have:

  • Parallel programming, distributed algorithms, distributed resource management systems
  • Experience designing and building scalable back-ends including microservices, API gateways, and RESTAPIs
